Watching the Wilhelms: A gift from a Brinkman....! (and other pics)

So, if you are familiar with my (Cheryl's) family, you will know that I grew up close to the home of the University of Michigan. But my parents were from the next state south, the land of the Scarlett and Gray. Well, growing up, my Mom decided that it would be fun to be U of M fans. I think mostly so she could get her siblings worked up. She especially tried to persuade two of her nieces to be U of M fans. Sadly for her, those nieces are now attending Ohio State.

When our first child was born, she bought him a Michigan outfit (he denies ever wearing it), and made some small attempts to divert his allegiance. They were all in vain. Travis didn't really have a college team so one day he told Isaac, "We are going to be Ohio State fans." And Isaac is as loyal of a Buckeye as they get.

We recieved a package this week from a Brinkman that is working hard to make sure that all of the Wilhelms are Ohio State fans. This book was included so that Isaac could start teaching the baby right away about Ohio State. Sorry Mom, but I think your chances of making any Wolverines are slim!

The Bathroom Remodel:

Travis spent last week installing Ceramic Tile in our bathroom. I have concluded that if you want to test the depth of your husband's love, ask him to put ceramic tile in. And then ask him how much easier linoleum is...! Tile is a ton of work. This bathroom looks SO MUCH better than when we moved in. No more BLUE bathtub and toilet. Goodbye to the industrial flooring. Hello to new and gorgeous tile!!!

I'll post another pic when we get the whole room put back together.
