Movie Night at the Wilhelm's House!

The kids hosted a movie night for the college students. The idea started with Isaac wanting to show the movie during one of the weekly worship meetings. Somehow the idea became- Let's show a movie at our house and you kids can plan it! What a great idea it was. They loved planning, preparing and of course, the big night. They even went up and made an announcement to the students dressed like pirates (they showed the Veggie Tale Movie "The Pirates who don't do Anything") which is kind of intimidating considering there are at least 70 college students there on a given week. I didn't get any pics of them dressed like pirates... but I got lots of other pics!

Making invite cards- Isaac and Heidi made over 70 cards so they would have one to hand to every student! Dad helped a little but mostly they did it all!

Not the best pic but here is one of the invite cards- written on the back of some old business cards. It says, "I want to see you at our house 6:00pm this sunday April 26 MOVIE Night".

Setting up the projector- This is going to be a "real" movie theatre. I don't know who was more excited about having the movie on the screen- the kids or the Dad!

About 25 students came! What a good turn out and how much fun!

Watching the movie (and yes, he thinks he is one of the students...!)

This picture isn't from Movie Night. It's from Isaac's new favorite Super Hero- Bible Man! The kids ordered these costumes recently and some Bible Man movies and they have been playing Bible Man ever since. I'll have to get a pic of their masks too. Really good movies. Often after watching one Isaac will go to his bedroom, get out his Bible and look up a verse that was mentioned in the movie. Pretty cool!
